Showjumping win


Congratulations to the Killina Presentation Secondary School show-jumping team who won the Inter-Schools Novice competition held in Mullingar on Saturday 12 April. Fiona Molloy, on her first appearance with the school team, contributed handsomely with a clear round. Louise Hickey did very well on a lively pony with just four faults. Ciara, sister of Louise and youngest member of the team, had a clear round on her reliable pony, Paschal, and then held her nerve in an exciting jump-off to go clear with time to spare. Well done to all members of the team and to their Chef d’Équipe, Joe Conway. Thanks to all concerned, with a special mention to Conor Sheridan who provided both training facilities and expert advice. They are looking forward to their next outing in Newbridge on May 23.
