Drugs talk:
A talk on Drugs and Alcohol awareness for First years will be held on Tuesday 30 September with a talk open to all parents that evening at 7.30pm. Thanks to the Parents Association for organising this event.
Traffic and Parking:
Drivers collecting students from school are requested to exercise extreme caution and patience. Cars should not be double parked as this results in traffic coming to a standstill particularly as buses try to get past. Students are not to be collected in school grounds except in the case of students with a physical disability. Students driving to school are not permitted to park in the school grounds. Please note that the school is open to students from 8.30am.
Musical:
Oliver is this years’ school production in Killina. This well known musical includes songs you all know such as “Food glorious food” and Fagin’s tune “Pick a pocket or two” sung by Micheal Phelan. Our very own Oliver, Eoin Phelan befriends the charismatic Artful Dodger played by Shane Lynam, and they give a wonderful rendition of “Consider yourself”. The tragic couple Nancy and Bill Sykes played by Lizzie Conroy and Michael McConigley, try to lead Oliver astray and as for the rest of the story……………. Well you’ll have to come and see! Shows are on 5, 6 and 7 November. Tickets are on sale soon and can be bought from the school
