LORRAINE'S OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT

Lorraine Regan represented Ireland in the World Senior Athletics Championships in Taipei in China from 11th to 16th September, 2007. She participated in Javelin, Shot Putt and Discus and was one of three Irish junior athletes at the championships.
Lorraine had a fantastic time and returned victorious with a silver medal in Javelin, a bronze medal in Shot Putt and just missed out on a medal in Discus.
Lorraine's year ends with the South-east Games in Waterford on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September and we wish Lorraine every success in these games.
