Girls U 16 team win Final
The girls Under 16 team won the Leinster Final in Clane on the 2 nd of May 2007 in what proved to be a thriller.

Visit by Minister Cowen
The 5th year LCVP class in Killina Presentation Convent Secondary School invited Mr. Brian Cowen, Minister for Finance, to the school.Sharleen Luby welcomed him. He addressed all the 5th year students. He spoke about life in politics and about the fact that his father and grandfather were involved in politics. He emphasised the fact that we live in a great country, one we all should be proud of. A number of questions were asked by the students. A vote of thanks was proposed by LCVP student, Helen Molloy.

PRESENTATION TO OFFALY SPECIAL OLYMPICS TEAM
One of the final fundraising efforts of the outgoing Student Council at Killina Presentation Secondary School was to hold a "Jersey Day" in aid of Offaly Special Olympics. The event raised 750 euros and with a kind donation of 350 euros from Kelly's Roadhouse, Mucklagh, the overall amount to be presented was 1,100 euros.
Two of the current 4th year students at Killina Presentation Secondary School, David Hannon and Alison Rocke, have been in training and competing in preliminary rounds in swimming and basketball, while past-pupil Dessie Gonoude is a member of the Irish Equestrian Team who will be competing in the Special Olympics World Summer Games in China in October.
