School Tour:
On Thursday 23 October a group of 55 third year students and eight teachers will travel to Paris for five days. The busy itinerary includes visits to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Versailles, Montmartre, a full day in Disneyland and much more. Evenings will be spent swimming or bowling. All concerned are eagerly looking forward to an enjoyable and safe trip.
Traffic and Parking:
Drivers collecting students from school are requested to exercise extreme caution and patience. Cars should not be double parked as this results in traffic coming to a standstill particularly as buses try to get past. Students are not to be collected in school grounds except in the case of students with a physical disability. Students driving to school are not permitted to park in the school grounds. Please note that the school is open to students from 8.30am.
Resource Centre:
We welcome our new 4 years and we extend thanks to the Midland Vintage Association for their very generous donation of €5,000 to the Resource Centre.
Mentors:
The mentors are currently working with our new first years in a bid to make the transition to secondary school a smooth one.
The first years will be going on a trip to Portlaoise Leisure Centre on Friday 3 October. They will be accompanied by teachers and their mentors.
